Heyy there
sorry all for the delay in blog-posting... I've been crazy busy over the past 2 weeks what with switching from Madagascar to Tanzania to Kenya... I'm now on the home stretch of my trip. Only two months left then i'm headed home!
as for my Tanzania tour, it was absolutely amazing. My three days at Serengeti/Ngorongoro were literally three days straight out of National Geographic. We first drove from Arusha(the snake park) over the edge of the Ngorongoro crater and into the Serengeti. Let me tell you how absolutely blown away i was by the gargantuan herd of wildebeast. they were everywhere... the plains were peppered with wildebeast and zebras as far as the eye could see. We also ran into a herd of about 6-7 elephant who came to investigate our safari 4x4s on the road... sooooo cool. I am proud to say that i successfully saw and photographed all 5 of The Big 5 during those three days. Apparently a huge rarity but a leopard with a monkey kill grazed the side of our truck before climbing up a tree. Also, the hot air baloon ride over the Serengeti was absolutely spectacular. I have taken over 6GB of photos and videos but it will be impossible to post them at the moment due to a fuzzy internet connection. I will make an awesome slide show for you all when I get home and don't have to be so stingy about paying to use a computer.
all you need to know is i'm safe and having the time of my life!

Hey there So envious of your experiences and so so happy that you got to have perfect conditions for your Safari. Remember your journaling so that you can review it all when you get home to tell us; I don't want you to forget the experiences, smells, sounds, feelings and all; even if there were bugs in your tent; the heat in the vehicle; I want to hear ALL about it! love ya & stay safe! :)
