Didn't hit the "PUBLISH" button till now. Thought we're too old to care, anyway. Just having fun. So here's the story 😊

Blame it on all that revelry. Such carefree celebration. I never had problems with drinking. Those bubbles are my friends. They liven up an otherwise dull night. Or day. Ahem. Whoever said you can't drink while the sun is out?

Not. Just. A. Wedding.

The solemnity of the wedding ceremony was highlighted by the groom's speech in the Ilonggo dialect. Whoever tutored him with that most charming speech taught this Swiss national truly well. It took a lot of effort to learn the dialect , but while it was not his native tongue, the groom certainly professed his love straight from the heart.

The formalities over, the wedding reception among family and friends was more relaxed. Until the bar opened. Still, we stayed sober. For a while. Not for long. While the better dancers did serious dancing inside the Pavilion, the others were lured outside for some air. Then the shoes went. And who knows where we put our purses?

Before long, some of us tried barefoot dancing to the beat of the breeze. All that revelry. All that humidity. All that champagne. We raised our flutes and wine glasses while "breeze-dancing". And then the band played Y.M.C.A. The over the hill dames got on the ledge and showed them how. Until one of us thought the waters in the fountain is great to cool one's heels. Bunching up their skirts to their knees, thighs, and even higher? ........ the real party began! Some entertainment here. Till the bride , the groom , and the rest of the bridal entourage (almost) joined in. I'm telling you. This is about the 'wildest' wedding party I ever attended.

Not to worry, girls. Methinks it's better published to draw the attention of pharmaceuticals to use us as image models for all those multi-vitamins for senior citizens who care to have fun!

The real dancers stayed inside. The "better" dancers danced to the beat of the breeze.

This looks like one of the most entertaining wedding celebrations I've seen. Love the part where the bride and groom jump in. :)
