I arrived safely at Villas Pico Bonito and am covered in a thick layer of DEET.
Something completely bizarre just made a sound in the crook of my roof, or is maybe just ON the roof. Could’ve been a bird. Or maybe a small monkey. Or maybe a giant cicada.
All quite entertaining and awesome. Especially after sitting next to a Honduran witch doctor on the flight here. He can cure AIDS. And traveled with Michael Jackson for most of 2004. He invited me to his “wellness center”.
With the Cangrejal river roaring by, I will try to get some sleep although I would be much more relaxed with more reliable interenet access.
I'll post some photos tomorrow once I'm settled in.
