So you didn't think we'd make it here did ya? Neither did we after 25 hours of traveling and a brutal layover in Toronto. Don't worry we picked up our sheiks (kidding). We pyramided it up today rode a camel (quite the experience). We got on them (Shannon almost fell off screaming...does that surprise you?) We were only scammed three times so far...not too bad. Our tour guide Medhat is single and looking if we're interested. Erin????? Just a thought. He is giving us the rock star treatment, is really funny, and is making our experience really great.

Shopping update: We have both found Aladdin lamps...we're waiting to rub it for a genie for when we really need him. Bragging, our hotel is GORGEOUS! We have a personal driver, a view of the Nile from our room, and a personal singer who sings every few hours...all the time! (Actually call to prayer...amplified...at 4:00 am).

We went inside the pyramid which was one of our favorite experiences, especially Shannon because she laughed at me banging my head all the time in the narrow tunnel. P.S. Shannon has stubbed her toe three times today, and tripped several more times (Medhat laughed every time).

We're taking driving lessons from the locals. They drive like you Brandy... There are no lanes, and when they are painted on, they are purely decorative. Signal lights are non-existent, as are headlights. Horns are constant and 35000 pedestrians die every year. Needless to say we will not be crossing the road. We clipped a cop with our mirror today. Jackie was driving (NOT).

Having a great time, found all you single girls many hot egyptian men. And for our parents...staying away from them. Our tour guide loves having two women with him all the time. Shannon is beginning to get butterflies because of the shopping tomorrow.Jackie's butterflies are much more exciting...museum. Going to enjoy this paradise for the next two days and we'll talk to you again in smelly Rome. (seriously...smells like pee).
