Ok... so now we have a place with a bit more personality... Austria is gorgeous...
Its got style, energy and a whole lot more street excitement going on... there is loads of colour, music, entertainment, interesting foods, and so many more tourists here than in Switzerland...

And experienced my first bit of steady sunshine and blue skies in several weeks... hallelujah... I had been struggling there for a bit the last few weeks due to it still being quite cold, overcast and drizzly...
I am convinced that it really is true... grey skies do give you the blues...

Innsbruck is a very pretty little town... Salzburg is of course gorgeous... and Vienna... well simply divine... a beautiful city to visit and right up there with Rome as one of the great cities of the world as far as historical, stunning buildings, culture etc...

Sheesh... $94 a day... hardly travelling on a budget... and a long way off from my $10 days in India...
If I am going to be paying out $100 a day for the basics, then I think I may as well as pay out $400 a day... stay somewhere a bit luxurious... dine out in some fabulous restaurants... at least then I would feel that I was getting value for my money... Oh well...

Going to go try Slovakia next... x
