On the 30 April my May holiday officially began!
My friends and I are on the trip now- the "Venetian night" tour, that consists of visiting Budapest, Venice and Verona! This is my first journey without parents or teachers!
As we came to Lviv, where the tour started, early in the morning we had a complimentary Lviv sightseeing from the tour company!
But our emotions started with having breakfast at the train station! The station in Lviv has nothing to do with the one in Odessa where homeless people are all around! Even pink trees resembling sakura were in bloom!!

All I wanna say that I really like Lviv! It is a really european side of Ukraine that i didn't expect to be so cool)
We were even interviewed by local television about how we liked the city!
At the sightseeing tour we visited lots of interesting places like a palace with fantastic wooden stairs, the Parliament which now is the university, Armenian church, old chapel that hadn't been renovated since 16 century and some more!

Wondering around the Rynok Square we found the Masoch cafe dedicated to Leopold von Zacher- Masoch who is famous after the worf "masochism" , which is named after him!!! It seemed to be fun, but no place to sit! So we were drinking cofee and eating divine hand-made chocolate candies in the next-door cafe!

Another place that was new to me is the underground cafe Kryyivka that is absolutely nationalistic! The usher, dressed in the military uniform, told that we were "moskali" after we told that we had come from Odessa. "Mosklai" is abusive word for "russian" or "russian-speaking person". But it didn't offend me, I pretended this to be a joke.

We also had the "WONDER BUS"-tour around the Lviv downtown in the funky red-and-yellow bus!

And at 9 pm our European bustrip began....

Masoch
I see you found Masoch cafe, so did you get your rocks off with a male whipping you? You missed so many other cool places in Lviv, The Jewish Cafe, where you have to barter for the price of your meal, the Gas Lamp where you can drink vodka made of gasoline and many more! The Lviv hostel i stayed at (Lviv Live Hostel), showed us all this on their pub crawl so if you dont want to miss ALL the good places to drink you got to look at staying there. If want more info on the hostel can go here http://lvivhostels.com.ua/all/contacts-prices
