"Coban Rondo" waterfall and lovely US friends! :D

everybody!!! :D
have you know that I'm also member on couchsurfing???
so here's come my first time hosting, yay! :D
and it goes to... teng teng... Rachel Harper!!.. yes, she's my first guest hehe :P she comes from US but recently she's working on Thailand by NGO and her coming through Indonesia is for her holiday and visiting time for her friends..

well, few days before her coming to Malang, she messaged me and told me she'll spend couple days here..so I just said "oh, yes..! your room is ready!" then here she comes 😊 I picked her on train station which located only 5 minutes driving from my house and then we heading right to have lunch..yeah, she seemed hungry and need some space to walk cause she's been sitting in hours 😞
then I took her to try 'Bakso Bakar'..it's a kind of grilled meatball served with spicy sauce and hot soup..and since it's raining, of course the soup helped us warm our throat hehe..

we chatted great stories and after that we're heading back to my mouse first cause we need to take shower before going to other place.. after having some baths, I took her to mall :P hehe.. what's wrong? it's normal to take guest to mall right? cause we have nothing to do with rain! :P
in mall, we looked in some stores for "Batik" clothes and did another clothes shopping hehe.. what again? can't we female do clothes shopping? 😉 and yeah..we noticed there's an orchid exhibition in front of the mall..so when we're going to reach the orchid areas, there's a man offering us to use his huge umbrella..I thought like 'oh..what a gentle man..' but in fact being so gentle, he asked me money! geezz... always money money again! I'm done with money! :O
So on the orchid areas, we met another foreigners and nobody kept staring to my friend again hehe :P
and it just ends like that.. nothing particular with the orchid exhibition..so we decided to get back to my car and went out from the mall to pick another friend who also couchsurfing member..

hm..actually we had appointment in 6.30pm with other couchsurfer again to hang out for some drinks, but since it's still 5.30pm, all three of us went to had dinner first..I took us to try 'Soto'..Rachel said it just tasted like a kind soup which she usually have in Thanksgiving..it's soup made from chicken broth which cooked with some traditional herbs then served with rice or potatoes and some chicken slices plus various vegetables 😊 isn't it nice? 😉 tell me if you feel hungry now.. :P
so, after the dinner..it's still raining and we just decided to reach the drinks place..and you know? of course we're still full! After a bowl of 'Soto' and still we need to drink some? no noo.. I could't swallow anything much more... but still I order lime tea haha.. :P silly me.. well, then everybody's got over sleepy while chatting each other..full tummy and cold breeze...hoaahhmmm.... :O so, time to back home and sleep... nitee.. 😊



SATURDAY:

in morning, we all woke up a bit late :P and after showered and breakfast, we heading to train station again to buy a ticket to Solo for Rachel then picked some friends again and headed to "Coban Rondo" waterfall..
we passed great mountaineous areas with Turkish songs played in my car which made me sleepy again :P
arrived in waterfall area, everybody couldn't stopp staring at Rachel and some of them talked in rude English words..they thought it was cool to talked like that, but instead being cool they're pathetic :· now I know the bad eefect from Hollywood movies..poor them..
We're having fun near the waterfall till our clothes got wet cause the water splashes. And some local guy ask us to take a picture with them haha..and sure they curioused to take picture together with Rachel :P that's so funny..
and after had some fun there, we bought some souvenirs and back home..
in our way back home, we stopped awhile to my villas and let them took some apples with them 😊 apples..apples..apples..
and again..having great lunch in cool place with bif fishes around us haha :P can you imagine how fat we are now? :P

Right after arriving Malang again, we back to my house awhile to pack some stuff and took Rachel to train station. It was a sad moment, I already missed my lovely wife:O haha.. that's a joke with me and Rachel to ignore all weird local guys :P and after lot of hugs moments, there comes the time for the train to left Malang.. bye Rachel...see you soon in US TnT..
