We spent a night at Iloilo city, one of the most developed area in Philippines. By morning flight we went to Davao, quiet boring city. Our hotel ‘My Hotel’ is at a busy street and the day never ends as if they were working, shopping, eating in three shifts. We had difficulty in sleeping.

The first day we visited several shopping centers and spent most of our time at Victoria Plaza for purhasing pearls. This place may be an attractive area for pearls. One should feel that the sellers don’t cheet you. They are so honest and you can bargain to a very small amount.

The second they we visited Samal Island (Paradise Island region) . We snorkelled at the corals and ate lunch by the sea. The next day we took a three hours bus to General Santos City. On the the journey we had beautiful scenery.

We had a very nice hotel near the Central Park-Sydney Hotel. We wandered around the city and had difficulty to find eating place to our taste. We shot some pictures at the beach, visited fish market.

The next day we made a day tour to Lake Sebu; first we

went to Marbel , one hour, then another bus to Surallah, half an hour, then a jeepny to the high lake that took half an hour also. Because of their holly week there were crowds visiting. We had lunch by the lake at Punta Isla Resort. One feels herself at paradise, all green and flovers.

We also visited two waterfalls around the lake by motorbike. We were three on the bike. From waterfall 1 to waterfall 2 there is a cable line. You can fly 774 meters. We were going to try the line but the waiting list was 70 so we gave up and went there by our motorbike.

Now we are at the airport- General Santos to fly to Cebu, our last leg of our travel. We will spent four nights around Bohol Island.

Missed you all.

Boring?
Sorry I did not find in your story of Davao as "quiet boring?" You must have meant your feeling and not the city. Actually your description of it is quite vibrant with endless activities of its "honest" people.
