Panglao Island
Dumaluan Beach , Bohol Beach Club ResortArriving at Cebu we took a taxi to boat port to Tangbilaran, then by a shared van we reached to Alona Beach at Panglao Island which is tight by a bridge to Bohol Island.
We had difficulty finding a hotel because of their holly holiday. At last we stayed at Alonaland Resort (1600 PHP) walking distance to the beach.
The first day we took the Bohol tour from the resort and we really enjoyed. We visited Loboc River and had lunch on the boat, we saw one of the oldest church at Tagbilaran, we spent some time by the special animals of Bohol. Lastly we climbed a hill and took pictures of Choclate Hills.
Second day we visited Dumaluan Beach and felt ourselves as if in Maldives, specially at Bohol Beach Club Resort.
The last day we made a tour to nearby islands; Balicasag Island and Virgin Island. We paid only 800PHP for whole day tour to the boat although they asked 1800 pesos. We snorkeled at the coral reefs but unfortunately we couldn’t get perfect pictures perhaps camera adjustment was in fault, or the corals were at depth. We had one of delicious fish ( lapu

Balicasag Iasland lapu) gril at the village on the island. We took a walk around the island in half hour on the sand beach. The other island is also another beauty with no one living on.
The sea at Alona Beach is not deep enough to swim in the day time may be because of low tide. But at nights we enjoyed dinners at Coco Visa Restaurant on the beach.
Today we started from Alona Beach, Panglao Island for Bohol then by jet ferry and finally by taxi to Mactan Int’l Airport, Cebu. Unfortunately we couldn’ have internet access at the airport therefore we will publish this blog on the way home at Doha hopefully.
In our Philippines visit we were paid top hospitality by the people and we had not even a little problem in 37 days. We loved the country and her people.
