Misty...
Day 7

So I had a rather hard night...I thought I'd sleep through the drunk fest outside my window, but I woke up about 3 times between 2-5:30- seriously???? Ugh...I am told they simmer down mid week...

I was able to wake up in time though and had my first class in Sociology with Danielle, Caitlin, and Amanda. We found our room surprisingly easily. Yay! It looks pretty good too. Issues in Contemporary Ireland- pretty intense professor- I like it. Had a chunk of time and went and go tea, fruit and a bagel after it around 10 and was back at my place by 11:30 and went back to class around 1:30, so I hung out and met my new roomates, Allen, Chris and...I am not sure what the third guy said. Allen looks a lot like Beau.

Went to Contemporary Irish Writing, sounds like an intense class- lots of reading and writing- but nothing new to me. So I'll stick it out. It was so full through that people ended up on the floor for a while but then mid-way some people left but the Prof said she had about 40 on her list but there

was closer to 60. Same thing with Geography he expected 60 we had about 100. Even our Sociology class was full for a Monday at 9am.

Study Abroad students just must be over-running this year. Anyway, it was a good first day in class. Have a bank appointment to get an account on Thurs at 10:30. I got a delivery laundry service, as lazy as it sounds, they pick up my laundry, wash, dry, and fold and return int within 12-24 hours depending when they picked it up. TIME SAVER! Also money Saver, I would spend about 10 euro/week for 1 wash and 1 dry if I bought tokens each week for the rest of the semester- that's about 150-60 euro but I paid 120 euro for once a week wash/dry/deliver and all I have to do is be here so they can pick it up and they email me when it's ready or text and I let them know when I want it back. WOO!

I have no classes on Fri and Thurs only class from 4-6 so Thurs are laundry days for sure.

Bought some spiral notebooks and scissors finally! Met up with David around 4 and got some food which was way too much and now we both are feeling it... but we had a nice conversation for a few hours until 6 when I had my meeting with Elaine. Had some trip discussions and things are going well. Now I am back in my room being anti-social and am going downstairs now to be social a little. 😊
