So, all my followers, I hope you get notified of this latest expedition! Well, I officially left (US Time) at 430AM Thurs morning for the Austin airport and arrived in LAX at 850 (LA time) then Beau and I boarded our plane at 11:30, but sat on the tarmac for an hour...knowing from the start, our plane would be late arriving into Narita (Toyko) we knew there would need to be new arrangements to get to Osaka. Originally, we were meant to connect to Itami, but the plane we were supposed to fly from Narita was the last one to Osaka. Thankfully, we were given vouchers to take a bus to Haneda (Also a Tokyo airport) but it was an hour and a half drive away. We arrived at 730, and were able to check in ... read more

Day 119. So, I keep telling people, "Yeah I leave Tues morning" but do I believe it yet? nope. My suitcases are packed (sorta) and my prayers are for a safe flight and no ash mess. I cannot believe in 24 hours i will be several hundred miles away from this country. Honestly, I am not sure exactly how I feel today. i guess peaceful is the most appropriate. I am not upset, I am not crying, I am not jumping up and down and running around happy- just content, mellow. I wish I was a bit more emotional, that I made today "special" but at the same time, I am quite alright enjoying the peace on the Milstream Language Common Room- no one here, comfy furniture, no pressure to do anything. Day 112- So I am sitting in the cafeteria on Level M, Block E, at a table on a huge orange cube with a Coke Zero and Vittel water bottle at my side. I am studying for my EH 4002 or Renaissance Literature final at 4, so in a little less than two hours I will happily begin the end of this module- thank goodness! I am mostly writing this blog now because I am VERY tired of studying. I feel like I have stuffed as much as I can into my head and am listening to Heavy Rain soundtrack which, while usually allows me to concentrate, all I can think about is writing something creative and daring- not King Lear and Andrew Marvell. Day 107... Inconceivable! I cannot believe I am down to a final 10 days! So last night was the second to last night at SFC (Students for Christ) and though this last two times are a laid back- play games atmosphere, I definitely have wanted to be there! I was sad i missed the last official Bible study week last week due to Spain, but last night was a blast. Between two new games- Fluxx and Dicecapades it was a great night! I was quickly disheartened however by the time I left and found out that Brent would not be able to be at SFC next week!
