Signed up for another month in Marathon. The last few weeks have not been all that great, weather wise, so I want to get an extended period of nice weather before I go somewhere else. It looks like the Bahamas have not been that great either for the last week or so. It has gotten progressively worse here and the last few days have been pretty miserable. Steady non stop 20-30 kt wind making the wind chill at night go down to 28. I am sitting in the marina building in long johns and four layers of shirts and sweaters and and blowing on my hands to keep them warm. Today it is supposed to start warming up. Next week end it is suposed to be back in the upper 70's.

Got my heat exchanger put back on yesterday. It took three weeks to get it in because the distributor had it back ordered. Being down in the motor with the boat slamming around on the mooring was really a lot of fun. I had to chew ginger gum to keep from getting sea sick. What a chore. When I got the old one off I found a leak in a hose that was hidden by the exchanger. Had to make a trip to the dinghy dock in 30 kt wind and walk a mile to West Marine to get a new hose. Got it back and it was the wrong size. Did it all again. Oh well its a boat. Started fine though and didn't overheat. Now to check my rattling prop and then I may be ok for a little while until the next group of things break. Will probably make a trip out to Sombrero Reef when Jessi comes this week and the weather gets back to normal.

Everyone has been staying on their boats or working on computers in the marina building a lot even though there is no heat. You see people in their dinghys looking like Washington crossing the Deleware. Leaning into the wind with hoods and scarves and looking serious.

Oh yea--- could somebody send me some money so I can continue to play.

sorry about the cold weather
I appollogize for the cold weather. It seams to have followed me south to the keys for my vacation. Luckily for you my vacation is over and I have returned home so you can expect the keys to return to normal now! The girlfriend and I had a little bit of fun in cold florida. We went to the everglades and watched alligators and we harrassed manatees at crystal river. Frank
