Cliff Cottage Resort, Ko Chang
So after 12 hours of travelling from Sihanoukville (Cambodia) to Ko Chang (Thailand), via 3 buses and a ferry...we finally arrived!!!
Ko Chang is awesome! We are definalty looking foward to spending Christmas here!
The main life here is situated along the west coast, and the beaches here are stunning!
Instead of staying in the hustle and bustle of White Sands and Lonely Beach (which isn't so lonely), we have decided to stay just outside Bang Boa which is situated on the south-west tip of the island, and is famous for its chilled out atmospher! Right up our street!
The resort we are staying at is sooo cool! Its called Cliff Cottage Resort and it consists of 30 wooden huts, all postioned high up on a cliff edge! The people that run it are super friendly, and the food is great!
We have hired a motorbike, and have explored the island today! The island has a couple of stunning waterfalls, so we are planning to visit them all in the next couple of days that we are here!
The market in Bang Boa is really cool! It sits on a pier over the ocean! We've also found a brilliant coffee shop here, that serves the BEST mocha in the world! No joke!!!
So everything on this island seems to be perfect! There is unfortunatly a downside!!! The dogs!!!
We have never met such aggressive and unsocialable dogs in our lives!
Last night when we were going to bed, we had a pack of doggies follow us into the jungle (where our hut is located), and one of them bit Onie on the leg!!! Ouch!!! Not her friend! Then this morning, we were riding on our motorbike, and one popped out of nowhere and started chasing us, trying to bite our legs!?! Scary!!! We only JUST got away!!! I don't know what there owners have been feeding them!?!
We're both really happy, we've just had a really long chat to our best friends Andy and Jill on Skype!!! Andy that blue Marge Simpson wig, made our day!!!

Hi guys
Hi guys, just love the photo's of your engagement it made me feel all emotional what a beautiful setting and what a special and memorable moment. You should have a photo of the jetty blown up for your bedroom wall when you get back to always remind you. I'm a bit worried about that dog bite Leonie, did you have your tetnus when you were 14?? keep an eye on it. If they chase you again squirt water in their faces they hate that. Lucy rang yesterday to say she had arrived in Uganda and was drinking wine on the banks of lake Victoria and it was hot. Sasha is 30 weeks on Saturday and getting quite big she is very well and she and Jon are getting excited. I have had the terrible cough and cold that has been going round so i'm sorry for the way i look on the email photo we sent you. Happy xmas you guys its not the same without you two or lucy but we are very cosy with logs on the fire every night as it is freezing outside and has been for over a week now. We will drink your health and send you our love and xmas wishes at dinner tomorrow and look forward to talking to you on skype if we can at 11.00 am We are so proud of you both and its wonderful to see you looking so well and happy. love mom and dad xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
