At the library again... These last couple of times I have walked into town, I have taken this back way- a path that cuts through the bush, past the dam and the small lake.. it is lovely.. much more scenic..not as many people and sounds... the trees are thick and the birds call out from within.. I remember walking this path before, in 2006 when I was in this area for the first time.. I have not taken my camera with me as there has been quite a bit of mud and water due to the constant rain and I was worried, you know , that I would end up dropping it into the mud or water..etc etc. But now the weather seems to be moving in a better direction..according to today.. who knows though? but I will risk it next time and bring my camera and get some nice shots of the trails..
Ingrid's cousin Warren came into town and stayed for a few nights. Very nice guy...first person that cooked eggplant in a manner I actually enjoyed.. We had lots of fun, watching stupid movies (the weather was no good), listening to Bruce Springsteen until 2 am and laughing
a lot.. took some good photos. Sam got his new car, a 2002 VW Golf but I have not been able to hang out with him in it yet..he is very busy with work and family issues. Hope soon that I can organize a trip for the two of us to the game reserve we were at before, where the car garage is.. get some good photos. SO that is in the cards..
I have some leads into jobs/positions in various areas of the country..backpackers and reserves that I contact via email. I am staying positive (like posi-core) and hoping something comes through.. Until then I will continue to clean and cook for Ingrid and Neil..haha.. and enjoy the beauties of this small farm town.
I have decided to post some more older photos, some mine and some Nathan took..since I do not have too many new photos as of now..

I love the old photo of Neil!! Cool hair. Sounds like you are staying positive and that is great-because as I've said a million times - it will all work out. When God closes one door another one opens, :) Jack-Jack used to say that all the time. So that should comfort you, I know how much you miss her. She would be soooo proud of you! She would probably be there if she could, lol. Love you!! mom
