Joshua,
I think you have a gift, you really write well. You make things so interesting. Beautiful gorgeous pictures! I miss you sweetheart, soo very much my wonderful son...God did bless me, didn't he? You were so worth the wait!! I love you, Mom
loved the photos I'm following your journey and glad to see you doing something you are passionate about. I loved the pics.
If you could see my hair you would not be happy.
Good luck with the job hunt. Keep me posted.

Merry Christmas! Josh,
Know that you are missed terribly this holiday season and wishing you the happiest New Year. You look content and serene in the photos and the scenery is majestic to say the least. Take care, keep taking pictures and know that you are in our prayers always.
Love,
Deb-
Good pictures Josh, glad to see you're getting along fine. You look good--happy. Your pictures of South Africa are different from what I imagined; so much greener. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas Josh :) i've been keeping up with your blog and love all the pictures. I hate that you're kinda stuck in limbo; waiting to hear something. send me your address and I will try and find the book for you...probably won't make it in time for Christmas, but it'll get there :)
Ukuthula,
Leigha
I love the old photo of Neil!! Cool hair. Sounds like you are staying positive and that is great-because as I've said a million times - it will all work out. When God closes one door another one opens, :) Jack-Jack used to say that all the time. So that should comfort you, I know how much you miss her. She would be soooo proud of you! She would probably be there if she could, lol. Love you!! mom
OMG. Baby cakes, I am sorry for your arms and for the trials you are going through. I know that all this is just making you stronger and when the blessings begin, they will multiply. I am praying for you....
I will see your mom this weekend. I will coax her to have a glass of bubbly and relax.
You are loved.
d.
try try and try again Josh...you are on the right track. Fall and get up...fall down again, get right back up! You will succeed with the fantastic attitude about everything you have.
TAKE THE CAMERA EVERYWHERE! Next time you head back there, take a photo or two. It's awesome that you are getting around so much out there and seeing many different places. Bookmark the good ones, so that if I get the chance to get out there, I'll be able to take some pics of my own. Be safe and have fun (don't go Fresno over there, GB's not there to take care of you).
Kay says hi and that she's thinking about you. Take care, amigo.
Josh, we hate that you won't be home for Thanksgiving, but know that you are doing what you want to do. We miss you (I haven't had my hair cut since you left). Please take care. Love Aunt Donna
Good news Josh Just to let you know that I am enjoying your travels but I have to say I think that you are a lot more adventurous than I am but you still make very interesting reading. Great Job!!! When I look back when I was in my twenties I was just as adventurous but I guess as time goes on it changes. Not that I am not active but what you seem to be doing is something that you will never regret and will always remember. Cheers. From Red Bluff, California. Clive Frethey.( you know the one who hurt your back terribly.)
Go back soon! It never fails, when you need a camera you don't have it. But as usual, you have made another new friend and get the chance to visit again. I cannot wait until you find out more about the backpackers. But...don't give up, even if this is not the time...press on, it will all work out (that's my motto) love you!! mom
addresses Josh: please change my email for your blog to mkato2eq@yahoo.com and add the mum's: kathy-flynn@sbcglobal.net. She is having a blast reading all of your blogs and we have weekly discussions regarding your adventures. I trust things will work out well for you eventually. Let me know if you want me to rattle the cages of the folks that invited you to come and then didn't produce a place for you to live, a room for your classes and money for those computers! If they didn't have it all together, then why on God's green earth would they have you venture that far away from home with nothing to offer you when you got there!? I'm sad! really more perturbed, than anything.
The upside is that you are alive and safe and well. I'm quite certain you are one of the most resourceful people I know, so I am sure you will continue to thrive. But you have to know that we all worry about you! And if you decide to come home, don't hesitate to say so...we will make the arrangements to make it happen! kisses! mk
I'm so thankful you have such good and kind friends:) Tell them thank-you from your mom! It was fun talking to you yesterday on 'speaker phone' I am going to check into 'Skipe' today. The pictures are beautiful! Love you sweetheart! Mom
Well, Mr. Wrinkle-you are sounding pretty good!! Things will be fine, won't they?? Seems like someone has told you that all your life, who would that be? hehe:)
sounds like a rough crowd you hang with, haha. Not everyone makes friends as easily as you, you just seem to have the knack dude. i know you will have no problems doing something you love to do in africa, knowing you you will probably be the president someday, haha.
Miss ya, and love you bunches!! mom
hey pal! So thats lame that the lady took advantage and the houses you guys built have been a waste. Looks like you are having a pretty exciting time. Have you looked into world cup tickets? You have to go to at least one match. A bunch of us are going to ATX this weekend for funfunfunfest. Oh and we are going to New Orleans for new years so im excited about the next few months. Diana wants to be able to read your blog too so this is her email address. government_cheese@sbcglobal.net Also wants to know the status of the horse tabirthaloth and why there are no pictures of you and her at any of these landmarks you have been visiting .keep in touch love ya xxdirtdobberx
Josh,
Love your captions under the pics and your adventures sometimes remind me of a favorite book that I used to read to Megan and Isaac (over and over again) "Mr. Frumbles Worst Day Ever." Mr. Frumble goes from each calamity to another and is never even aware of what is happening, he just ignores them and seems to enjoy his day despite it all. I guess that's a good way to look at things sometimes. :) Keep your chin up and keep moving onward, you'll reach your destination! Love you, Deb-
