Pikachu Toy
There's a video on this. Day 11: Hato Bus Tour 6:00am: I woke up, showered, got ready, and ate breakfast (slice of bread with cream cheese, McDonald looking hash brown, 2 sausages, half glass of apple juice)
7:30am: I played with Yuzuki.
8:00am: I left to go to Sophia University. I didn't make any mistakes but there was a lot of people on my first 2 trains. My god! Some people REEK! I was gonna die! I know most Japanese people shower and go in the ofuro at night...so is that why? But not everyone smells... I'm not sure. I also need to use the bathroom because I ate cream cheese. I'm not lactose-intolerant but my metabolism goes in super speed when I drink milk and eat cream cheese.
8:50am: I am only halfway to Sophia University. I was walking back and forth looking for the machine that can put money on my railway card. I went to the bathroom.
9:10am: I gave up on the machine and went to Tokyo. I found the machine and put money in the card. If I didn't put money in the card, I wouldn't have been able to get out of the train station. I
Smoking BOX
Smoke out of this box...and it's illegal. hopped on the train to Yotsuya station.
9:24am: I made it to the Yotsuya station and saw Melissa. We walked to Building 11 together. My route took longer than supposed to.
9:45am: Orientation started late. It was SO BORING. I don't even remember what was said. I just remember marking pages that I will go back to in the book. I'm pretty upset that CIEE rejects proposals on the refunds for activities and you only get $30 back per activity. $100 total. They should've just charged us $100 less.
10:30am: Orientation was finished early. I was relieved. I exchanged my contact details using the infrared technology in the phones with people I felt I bonded with or I felt I would need to contact them later. I walked around with friends in Sophia University. They were cold, but I didn't forget my jacket this time. I was okay.
11:00am: I ate lunch...Katsu Curry. I don't like cafeteria food but curry is hard to mess up. I knew I needed to eat food. I went to 7-Eleven for fun.
12:40pm: Group B rode on the Hato Tour Bus. Sorry, I was bored too. I had to
Imperial Palace
I went here already...but it's a nice remembrance picture. sit in a middle chair. Darn it. I tried to call Jon on my Japanese phone, but he didn't pick up. He called me a few times on my other phone but I didn't hear it. I went to sleep.
1:00pm: I got to see the Imperial Palace. It sucks that I can't go inside. The emperor doesn't even have power anymore. We went back in the bus and I fell asleep again not listing to the tour lady.
2:30pm: We arrived at Asakusa. The tour lady gave us 2 choices, explore on your own OR follow her. lol, no one did the latter. I quickly took video of everything essential and slowly went through the stores. I already saw Asakusa from my high school spring break trip, but at least I'm serious about recording this time. I bought a Hiromi pin and Hello Kitty sweets for my host family. I was so hungry.
4:00pm: We went back in the Hato Tour Bus. Someone offered me her seat, so she would sit in the middle. But I said I was okay. I just felt happy that she was kind to ask. I talked to the people near
me. I was happy that the tour lady wasn't talking. I don't like hearing directions and tours in buses.
4:50pm: We made it to Sophia University. The tour lady was nice because she had that pikachu thing and I thanked her and the driver.
5:00pm: I went to Yotsuya station with Melissa. I like taking the train with her and other CIEE students. I feel really not lonely. I don't like it that Japanese people are really quiet on trains and a lot of the time...I get stared at. WHY?? It's driving me CRAZY!
5:30pm: Melissa and I split at Shinagawa to go to our host homes.
6:00pm: I made it to my host home. I like my host home and family. They're so nice. They were seriously interested in seeing all my photos and videos of Asakusa. 😊 Also, Yuzuki was a good girl today. I gave them the Hello Kitty desserts. Yuzuki loved them!! I knew she would. I tried to take a video of her reaction, but I forgot to press the "rec" button. Darn it!
6:30pm: We ate dinner, this meat thing, rice, ginger, miso soup, and salad. EVERYTHING is delicious.
I finished everything. I got to eat cake and the Hello Kitty dessert. Then, I played with Yuzuki, showed Manami and Daiki my Asakusa pics and videos, and watched a little tv.
8:00pm: I went to my room to be alone. I am starting to feel the effects of the graph thing that's in all my Study Abroad books. I'm begining to feel frustrated. I can't read everything. I can't understand Japanese perfectly and I speak SLOW. I am so talkactive in America and always expressing myself. So I'm just having a different experience. Also...people stink in the morning...worse at 5pm.

Wow!
These videos of Yuzuki are so adorable. You are very lucky to be able to stay with such a nice family. I am just sad that you have to be around such smelly people. haha xD
