This building is about three blocks from the hostel I'm in. It's now a museum. The bullet holes aren't fresh.
I've spent the last couple of days here in San Jose. Not really doing too much. During the day I've wandered around the streets a fair amount. I went out to some clubs last night with a couple of people. We were the only gringos around. Everyone else was young locals. Very young. The drinking age is supposedly 18 but I don't think club owners protest too much to a 16 with money in hand. I've met some good people fluent in spanish and english. So While talking to them I can make attempts in spanish and clarify in english. I'm heading toward the Caribe coast in an hour from now. I'll be looking at the property today. I don't think I'll be there too long though. There is a massive storm heading in that direction. I'm glad to leave San Jose. It's expensive and there isn't much to do here besides clubbing. As far as I know at least. Not too Photogenic either. The camera only came out once.
