Tues and Wed were almost the same so can write one entry for this. I stay up til approx. 2 am each night watching the TV in my room and playing on the internet. There are channels here that play old charmed episodes during the day, then different times (and at night from midnight to 2 am) play matlock, murder she wrote and diagnosis murder. Super great. Don would kill himself if he was here and I was making him watch it 😊 Anyway, then I sleep in, watch TV in bed. Finally drag myself up at like 10:30 am or 11 am. Get ready. Have breakfast. Then walk to Albertson's up the street and get groceries for dinner, etc. Then I watch TV while trying to do work.

My concentration's been bad so work takes longer. I am more interested in watching TV and my multi-tasking skills are waning he he. Yes, when I am away, I like to JUST sit around watching TV!!

Then I have been prepping the dinners for Stephanie & Aaron since they work hard all day and I'm hardly working ha ha ha. I made bar-b-q chicken with broccoli and scalloped potatoes and caesar salad And no, don't even imagine I made this from scratch. It's all "ready to go" stuff. Then I made a crock pot meal the next night of chicken dumpling, really good salad, and garlic bread. Plus baked cookies for dessert. And made strawberry shortcake for dessert one night. The only weird thing is that I wanted poppyseed dressing and the stores have like 50 salad dressings but NOT poppyseed. How weird is that? Not even this hippie alternative grocery store had it. Yet kraft makes it and so does litehouse and one other brand and they carry those brands here but not poppyseed. Guess what the MAIN salad dressings on the shelf are? Caesar, ranch, italian and BLUE CHEESE. Yep. How disgusting is that? One of the top 4 dressings here!! 😊

Tuesday night Stephanie and & I went to the night market on the main street and I bought some homemade banana bread and we bought rasperries. The berries these dudes had were sooo nice looking but we had too much food at home so just got raspberries. You can see the photos of the night market. One is the night market stands and one is the bread dude selling shaped sugar cookies. I also bought Keiko this cool pink breast cancer collar and leash - these ladies were selling stuff for their 60 mile walk for breast cancer (like that Cherilyn will be doing this weekend back home...). Can be Keiko's summer collar or something.

Unfortunately the photos are really dark as my camera is starting to not work 😞 And it takes like 1 minute PLUS to be ready to take pictures and I have just figured out that the flash isn't working at alll 😞 No matter the mode I'm in, no matter how many new sets of batteries I put in, etc... Totally poopie. I might have to get a new camera as I never take pictures usually but am trying to take them for this trip so everyone can see how great America travel is ha ha ha. And the blog wouldn't be nearly as great if you didn't see any photos 😊

So at the beach the day before this lady was selling these "paintings" made out of threaded silk in her stand and some of these same people go to the night market. Soo beautiful - a silk threaded yellow cherry blossom tree with chinese writing and also is done in red - but she had sold that one. There was the EXACT same one at the PNE when I went. The PNE dude was selling it for $550. Guess how much it is here in AMERICA? It is ONLY $298!! BIG difference. No I didn't buy it - are you crazy? The point I am trying to make that I always say is "Isn't America great?" 😊

Melanie! Thank you so much for the week of home cooked dinners. I brag about you to my coworkers and they are all jealous. I think everyone will be fighting for you to stay with them next time you're in town!
