after waving goodbye to the fabulous group of kids that we had in the third shift, me and 4 of the other teachers jumped on a bus to san sebastian - a 3 hour trip away - to chill out by the beach.

we stayed in a hostel called ´ocean view´ and it certainly had the most stunning view of the water!
after we had settled in, we had a walk down the streets with an ice cream and obviously stopped off in an outside bar to soak up the sun and knock back a few beers. in the evening, we had a few drinks at the hostel and then went out to a few different bars and played various drinking games etc! at 1am, we were all craving some food so tucked into a yummy mc donalds meal! patrick, helen and ewa decided to go for a swim in the sea so phil and i sat on the beach and laughed as they whipped off most of their clothes and jumped into the freezing water!

the next day, we set off for the beach and spent most of the day just chilling out by the sea... it was absolutely stunning and the weather was perfect. we got the bus back in the evening and it certainly felt like coming back down to earth with a bump as our new and last lot of kids arrived for the final camp yesterday... they are absolute horrors! there is some real attitude with some of them but laura, the camp director, is definitely ready to send some of them home as none of us want to put up with disrespectful behaviour!

we had a disco for them last night and i have to admit that all the teachers LOVED it... the kids? hmmmm not so much. basically because we´d spent the entire day compiling a CD with all our favourite songs from the 80s and 90s and doing the cheesiest dancing ever to them! i asked the kids today what they thought of our dancing and all of them just looked at the ground and sniggered! hmmmm!

anyway enjoy the pics from san sebastian! xx

Hi, I would enjoy the photos more if I could see them! All I am getting is a black box. You lot are worse than the kids for being naughty. Eleri asked the kids in assembly which teacher is naughty and they answered Mrs Clifton would you believe that! I was so embarrased. I am just catching up with your news, I have been very busy. Sounds like you are having so much fun bit worried about your teenage counciling, the poor boy was destrought. right I am going to carry on reading the rest of your news. Bye for now.xxx
