Bonjour!
This was always going to be the trip that I was most excited about, even though it was just going to be short n sweet. I've just spent the weekend in Paris with one of my best mates Selina. I've never been to Disneyland and yesterday we went to Eurodisney in Paris which was soooo much fun. We also managed to drop 20 years off our real age and acted like 8 year olds again.
We saw the parade with all the disney characters which was really cool to start off with but then it ended up being one of the quickest parades I've seen in a long time - that's because it started to bucket down with rain! That's when we seeked refugee with the Space Mountain ride, which even in our soaked states, turned out to be our favourite ride. Its a roller coaster in the dark, where you really have NO idea which way you're going - I almost flew out of my seat a couple of times!
It was so cute seeing all the little ones dressed up as princesses and pirates. We attempted to see how dresses fitted for size but unfortunately
Arrrgggghhhhh!
Sel & I on the Big Thunder Mountain Ride....they were just a bit on the small size... Let's just say we were both exhausted when we got in at 10pm.
As for the rest of the weekend, I've just been hanging out in Paris with Sel and her friends. One night, her boyfriend cooked us a 5-course french meal. For one of the dishes, we eat the lining of a pig's stomach, and it was quite nice. However, if I'd known what it was prior to eating it, I can honestly say that I don't think I would have eaten it. At 3am, Sel and I being the antipodeans decided to teach a french man how to play twister which was a real laugh.
Saturday, we just wandered around Paris. That night, we met up with some more of her friends and had a great night out at a canadian and a scottish bar.
Now its time for me to head off as I need to get back to London and finish packing all my stuff - one week to go till I go to South America!

Honey, I can still say that this was one of the best days i have had in a long time! it was so great to do something completely wacky!!! with you to say 'a bientot! Our character ears are now in Oz with my god-children and they think it is the best present ever!!!because these ears come from disneyland itself - they have proof!! x
