We huddled under the tarp to keep out of the rain
This long weekend Steve and I travelled up to Birubi Beach which is very close to Nelson's Bay. We stayed at the Birubi Beach Caravan Park with 5 other couples. Other friends also came up to visit us for the day. We had some very heavy rain and spent much of the time huddled together under a tarpaulin! However, when we got a break in the weather we went for a walk over to Stockton beach. Stockton Beach has many sand dunes and lots of people take their four wheel drives or dune buggies along the dunes. They also have camel rides available for those who are interested. In the evening we went down to the camp kitchen to have dinner, chat and play cards in front of the log fire. It was a very nice weekend despite the rain.

looks like a great weekend
and you seem to be having the same sort of weather as us here in Whangarei - rain rain and more rain! But you still managed to enjoy yourselves and so did we when we went for a few walks at the weekend through the puddles!
