me for 6wks
not so good times!!this is the first blog since the new Year as av not really been upto much.......due to the fact that a fractured ma heel back at the start of january.......it's a long story so am not goin to go into it but a hav heard that there are a number of stories doin the rounds back home as to how the fracture occured!!
a was put in plaster for the first wk then a had to go bak to the fracture clinic, and they decided to remove the plaster as it wouldn't help heal the heel any quicker....it will just become sweaty and smelly!! so it was a relief to get it off, as it meant a could shower properly!!
for the past 7 wks a hav been stayin with a friend of ma mums out in the suburbs of sydney........a watched nearly every match durin the australian open tennis, loadza cricket and about a dozen films every week..........it certainley helped pass the time!!! also without havin a plaster a managed to go swimming in the pool out in the garden!!
it was ma birthday about 5 wks ago so a headed into bondi beach for some dinner
Blue Mountains
me at the 3 sisters to celebrate with ma cousin and some friends, also managed to neck a few beers which was nice...lol.
a got upto the Blue Mountains one day, so that was good although a couldn't see as much as a would have hoped due to the rugged paths etc.........too much hard work on the sticks!!!!
a have been stayin down in bondi at ma cousins for the past wk, catchin some sun and people watchin....well woman to be more precise!!!!
helped celebrate ma cousins friends birthday as well last weekend whilst a was down in bondi...........and just chilled at the beach everyday. headed to the hospital on monday and a was given the all clear, so finally no more crutches and a can get bak on the travellin trail and livin the dream.......am one happy laddie!!!!
will b leavin sydney on monday and travellin the east coast.....will keep u updated with some blogs.........the coast run should tak me about 4-5wks......heard so many great reports about it.......canny wait!!
