We all slept in on Sunday from our busy weekend! Lynds and I, craving Thai food, went on a search to look for something comparable to Thaicoon (all you Greenville folk can share my sentiment). I will say this, Sydney (or Manly Beach for that matter) is not short on Thai food. We decided on this cute little place just down the road from the apartment. It was quaint and great smelling inside. As we saw several families I was quickly reminded that it was Father’s Day here in Australia….so Happy Australian Father’s Day to my dad! Again, the food was super-fantastic. Definitely up to par with Thaicoon, much to our happiness!
Again, since it was a bit chilly outside, we spent our day watching some good ole American TV on our VCR. Most of the time we can hardly see the screen for some reason, but we’ve been dealing with it so far haha. Lynds and I set out for an afternoon walk to explore a bit more of Manly. We walked down the beach and watched some surfers catching some waves (which made me very excited to start surfing soon) and saw several more good restaurants on the beach. Something to look forward to possibly this weekend!
We called it an early night knowing we had another fun-filled busy week ahead of us.

Oh my gosh, I don’t know what I was thinking, I forgot about to write about the best part of Saturday. Waking up on Saturday, we were all craving a good ole breakfast. This deli right around the corner always smelled so good, so we decided to give it a shot. Still feeling a bit chilly, Lynds and I got the most amazing hot chocolate, while MN got what she claims as “the prettiest coffee she had ever seen” haha. I cannot put into words how freaking amazing the breakfast was. I went with scrambled eggs, canadien bacon and toast. Oh, how good it was! MN and Lynds split this amazing looking plate that included sausage, ham and eggs….I wish I could make it sound better, but my writing skills are not that good….I’ll just keep it that it was definitely my favorite meal since I’ve been here! Jane, MN has already exclaimed that once you try it, you will never leave! Haha, something to look forward to!
