We got a little behind here, so this entry dates back a while. Our last days in the La Paz area we spent hiking with our other Yukon friends in the Cordilla Real. We reached altitudes of over 5000m and experienced our first really cold temperatures in South America. The ol' tent got broken out again, and we spent our time hiking glaciers and neanderthal bowling. Some of the scenery was amazing. We took no map and had no guide, which ended in us getting off course twice and eventually heading back to La Paz a day early (accidentally). The good news was that we got back just in time for proper St. Paddy's debauchery.
