Despite what you may have heard from whatever source I am hot and happy!

It has been a huge culture shock for me over the past mm..almost 3 weeks here in Honduras but it has been amazing. During the weekdays I have been spending time working with a sort of kindergarden class in the morning...and then babies in the afternoon...they are so many beautiful children!!! Like my mom and everyone else said I definitely want to bring some home...but maybe I´ll give it a few years!

The weekends have been spent at the beach...the city waterpark...or doing whatever the family tells me to...lol literally..its hard to rebute when you cant understand what is to come.

I have experienced riding the buses...literally run by whoever chooses to drive down that road...and markets..like typical carribean markets, bombarded by people when they see you arent from there..utter confusion a lot of the time...not knowing whatz going on or where I am going...but yet total bliss learning how happy some are with so little.

Thank you so much for all the kind and supportive words, I appreciate them immensely and know that I miss everyone loads.

Love You

Hola Ms. Whitney, So tales told may be not quite right.....glad to hear your news and think that perhaps you are sliding into the culture of manana (not sure on the spelling there but you'll get my drift). Love Ya,

Hi Hon, glad to hear that things are going well for you. Working with kids is your passion and it's great that most of your days are spent with small kids and babies. It was good to hear that you're getting out to the beach and various activities during the weekends. The ride on the local bus sounds like an adventure in itself. Things are pretty quiet around here, pretty dull really. Take care, continue to have fun and stay safe. Love Auntie Barb and Grandma
