Byron Bay

Arrived in Byron Bay last night and it seemed even hotter! The humidity is increasing - phew! We went to the beach in the morning and had a lot of fun in the surf. The waves are really strong and nearly knock you over. We got a free body board from the hostel so attempted to ride some of the waves in. The sun is so strong though so we had lunch back at the hostel and cooled down. Byron Bay is a very chilled out, hippie kind of place so great for strolling around and soaking up the atmosphere. I found a nice bead shop where you could design and make your own jewellery so I made a bracelet for myself. It is easier to go out and about in the evening once the sun has gone down as it is a bit restricting in the day unless you want to fry or boil!
