So one thing I was intent on doing while in Bangkok was making show my beautiful photos of Thailand werent ruined by "that" tattoo.Id heard about a fella called Jimmy Wong whos a really good tattooist so i planned to hunt him down.
In the morning though I met up with the tuk tuk driver again.He took me to a little thai market were we sat off and end some mad but delicious spicy soup.I was trying to hold back teh sweat and looked up at him just pouring.Ive come to accept the fact you cant fight sweating,just accept that your going to have this layer of sweat on you from the time you get up. So I said goodbye and thanked the guy and he kept saying "you tell all your friends about thai people now". I love these people
So I had a morning of looking around a few more temples athough getting a bit wat-ed out to be honest. The exception was the grand palace though,stuff like this usually bores me but the place was immense,compare this to Buckingham!! So much detail inot every inch of the buildings, All shining gold and emerald It was awesome.But my days
mission was to sort my tatt out.
So on the way to get a cab to hunt Jimmy Wong I walked in a tattoist off Th Khoa san,and sat and told them what i wanted,after an hour or so I decieded to go with the design Id already brought and just decieded to get it down there.A bit more expensive than I expected maybe but I just wanted it done. It took about 2 and a half hours and im generally pleased with it,allthough I spot more I dont like everyday....ill get it touched up when I get back to bangkok.It hurt.But not too much.And now I could don my vest and march around Bangkok with less embaressment (apart from the puny arms!!) the thais are obsessed with it.They come running accross the road to look at it.I think maybe cos its so dark and so different to traditional thai tattoos.
So only one way to celebrate and get pissed watching the match.Ended up with a man Utd fan (from shrewsbury suprise suprise!!) who was a good lad and his girlfreind who were heading back to England the day after.Thank god that isnt me........
