Does anyone know what the weather is like in Sapa in May?
Reply to this We just got back from there and it was cloudy and rainy. Seems that is the norm for this time of year. It still was a very nice time and the sites are very beautiful but the trails are very slippery, bring an umbrealla and rubber boots.
have fun.
Reply to this Oh! What a shame. I was really looking forward to do some serious photography. Thanks for your input.

Reply to this Hi,
and what about september? is it rain badly? is it cloudy?
Reply to this Just got back from Sapa today. The weather is great. Hot in the day but cool at night. Didn't even need a sweater. But going to Bac Ha market was a nightmare. The road condition was bad about 3/4 of the way. If you plan to go, skip breakfast or you'll throw up like I did. The heat and humidity at this time of the year is fierce. I was told that by August, the weather should cool down so Sept will be a great time to go.
Reply to this The weather is nice. However, the best weather in Sapa is Jan, Feb, March
Reply to this Sapa is one of the most famous tourist zones in Vietnam. The climate in Sapa is cool all year round with Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the highest peak in Indochina- Fansipan Peak. The average temperature is about 15.5 °C. Summer is the best time to visit Sapa, thousands of people traveling to this mountainous to avoid the hot weather in big cities and refresh themselves.
