What's the most scenic way to get from Vancouver to Victoria for an overnight stay?

We'll be in Vancouver in early June and want to travel by bus, ferry or car to Victoria. Any tips on how and things to do? Reply to this

Well there are sea plans in the Harbor that can take you across , last time i checked it was about $80 and i think it might have been a one way ticket standby ticket, the ferry takes about 2 hours if my memory serves me right.

I'm not sure about prices for buses as I've only traveled by car, and looked in to flying to Vancouver for a few hours but didn't bother after because of price. If your not renting a car and can spear the money I would recommend one of the sea planes , it takes you right down town Victoria! Reply to this

The ferry is a nice way to go to Victoria, it takes you around the small islands surrounding Vancouver Island. I believe the round trip cost with a car is around $80, by sea plane it will cost around $120 one way. Basically you will have an amazing view anyway you go, by sea or air. Reply to this
