Figuring Things Out At the very moment I am contemplating what Italy will be like. Sure I have seen the movies and read the books on the country, but how much can you learn from observing rather than actually doing/being. When I was figuring out which place in the wide-open world I would want to travel to, I could have picked somewhere that spoke English as a first language. My misadventures of trying to find my way through Italy. Everything from getting ready to leave, traveling without knowing the language, and learning about a new culture. Studying abroad in a foreign country never looked so good to the "uninformed" American student with a passion for history and coffee. So long as I can see amazing artwork/ buildings while drinking espresso I shall be a happy girl.
