Seeking reviews/suggestions for luxury resorts in Phuket.
I am planning my honeymoon in Thailand 8/24-9/6. Arriving in Bangkok, traveling to Chiang Rai, Phuket, and back to Bangkok. Have done some initial research and am looking for feedback on Trisara, Banyan Tree, Amanpuri, and Aleenta in Phuket. Looking to stay in higher-end accomodations (pool\spa villa, pavillion). Leaning towards Banyan Tree or Trisari. Aleenta also looks like a good choice, especially for the price. Also a little concerned about the weather. I do expect rainfall daily but hopefully for short periods of time. Any feedback or suggestion for Bangkok or Chiang Rai also welcome.

bangkok yes chang rai yes but phuket is a complete let down spend lil extra go phi phi instead
Reply to this Bangkok is so nice, can see more information at here may be useful for you, Chiang rai is so quiet and peach especially in "Pai". Phuket still most beautiful island even now is change too much but you can find some place that suit for your honeymoon time, five star hotels zone too great.

Reply to this ok let see, I think if you are in honeymoon time you will love Trisara, best romantic place with personal pool and seaview from your room.
Banyantree is good but look similar and doesn't have personal seaview from your own, if it have but not nice like Trisara.

Reply to this Stayed at Banyan Tree before and it was truly amazing... you might only have view over the lake but the the pool villa are truly amazing! and really private...enjoy your honeymoon!
Btw, if you were to stay in an other hotel, do try the couple spa pavillion of the Banyan Tree, paradise on earth!
