I have just landed onto this blog... it looks rather good!!!
I would like some advise on hill tribes routes for my visit to Chiang Mai.
I don\'t have a lot of time there 😞 about 3 days or so!! I get to Chiag Mai airport at night... any advise on accommodation too, please? Thanks beforehand.

Reply to this I stayed in an absolutely wonderful guesthouse called Gaps Guesthouse (just behind AUA) they are teak houses filled with antiques and set in a beautiful garden setting. Only 400b for a double room! It is a cookery school with an amazing and cheap vegitarian buffet most evenings in the garden. They organise hill tribe treks for either one or 2 days. We did the one day one and it took us half way up a mountain, to 2 hilltribes, for lunch, on an elephant trek and then white water rafting!! Someone took photos the whole way which you could buy also. Was absolutely amazing and I am retuning there in the next few weeks to do it all again! Hope you have a lovely time
