advice for teaching english / spanish in japan
16 years ago, December 7th 2007 No: 1 Msg: #23822
My girlfriend (guatemalan) and I (from the US) are interested in going to Japan to teach Spanish and English, respectively. I would like to know if any fellow travellers have done this (with either language) in Japan and what their experiences were like.

Where did you teach? Tokyo? other city? in the countryside? How much $ did you make? Did you save any money? Was it difficult? Did you get to travel to other places? Most importantly, did you like it??

Any information at all would be helpful. Feel free to respond in Spanish if necessary.

Thank you and Safe travels,
