Budget airfares in Asia

don't seem to get more expensive closer to the departure date as in Europe.

It seems the pricing model used by budget airlines in Asia,
is much different from europe..
The price seems fixed.. don't vary with date..
I looked at flights with cebu pacific in the philippines,
for next year, and checked for next week and the price
was the same..

Can anyone confirm this ?

If so I'll leave my flight booking until I'm there :-) Reply to this

I've tried Tiger Airways, Air Asia and Jetstar and the only difference in fares I've encountered is when they have their occasional promotions and such. Doesn't usually depend on the date and how far ahead you're booking the ticket. You could check up on websites to see if they are having promotions or alternatively, leave it till you get there which shouldn't be a problem 😊 Reply to this

On AA, during promotions its cheap. but maybe limited seat cos sometime one or two days after promotion date fare back to normal. Toward time of travel you pay top fares. But their top fares are still cheaper then MAS on normal days. They are as expensive as full fare airline towards festive seasons when lot of people move about.

Strange .. in Europe fares get very expensive as the travel date gets close.
Here, book well in advance to ensure cheap fares..
Seems to be different there..
