 Jamesd1967 JamesD1967 Post Count: 11 Msg: #1 728 days ago, November 26th 2007 | Hello, we are going to flying Liat Airlines in just under two weeks from San Juan, PR to Georgetown, Guyana. First our trip begins in Syracuse, NY on US Air to San Juan, with an overnight at the Best Western Airport Hotel right at the SJU airport. This hotel is great totally connected with the airport, you don't even have to leave the airport. Great place for next day connections. Anyway, the next day we fly Liat from San Juan, PR to Port of Spain, Trinidad, with another overnight in Trinidad, then the following day to Georgetown, Guyana (GEO). The return flights are exactly the same, after we spend one-week in Guyana. | What is Liat like, we have never flown them before? But have heard several unpleasant stories about them. dleepenn D. I've decided that if LIAT is one of the flights I will need to take to a destination, then I just will not go. LIAT is not worth the trouble. | We were stranded by LIAT in San Juan and then again in Barbados. They also lost my wife's bag. Other travelers had similar and worse stories to tell.
