Hi all
I am planning on leaving the U.S. late Jan 2008, then travelling to South America, onto Australia, then back to the states. I am having trouble finding a good deal emcompassing these 3 continents. Is buying one way tickets a viable way, or just too expensive? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Reply to this South America is the most expensive destination on a RTW - you'll probably find a return cheaper.
Your RTW could then be something like - US->Hawaii->Fiji->NZ->Aus->Asia->Europe->US - which is AFAIK the cheapest route.
Reply to this Hi Haysie id follow Ali's advice as one ways would be too expensive as i found booking my round the world ticket that south america is not cheap for flights.
Thx Mike😊
Reply to this Thanks for your input guys. I ended up doing the one way thing, the freedom aspect was what nailed it for me. Miami to Quito $250, then Buenos Aries to Melbourne $1600, ouch!
