New to this independance, finding myself, its what i want isn't it? how can i be so excited and so scared at the same time?
Well i've done it! bought my ticket and got the visa confirmation, Wippeeee! Traveling round Australia on a year work/holiday visa ALONE! Everyone reassures me that there will be lots of people around, and i will always be making friends. But i'm afraid that i will feel alone in a crowded place, just like i have always, unless i have a boyfriend attached to my hip.
So many anxieties, but so much joy!
Will endeavour to do the things that make me happiest, and try the new and out rageous, gonna do it for ME! Seek good company and be strong enough to say/do what i want when i want. And ultimately rejoice life, appriciate every moment and be grateful for my existance.
this is my journey...... influenced by me.
Reply to this Congratulations - and good luck! You will have an awesome time and there will be lots of people to meet, adventures (and misadventures!) to experience.
There will be some tough days - lifes like that - but the good days will make it all worth it. Best thing I ever did... and three years on my life is very much changed for the better by having taken the chance 😊
Reply to this I'll be in Australia next week for a month. Only thing is it's my native country. Haven't been there for three years. Am returning to see family and friends.
Reply to this Hello Oz! For sure you will have an awesome time in your trip to Au. Trust me, you will crave for more travelling as soon as your travel in Australia ended. Let me know if you might possibly consider
Ireland for your travel.
Cheers and have a safe trip!
Reply to this My travels in Australia were absolutely fantastic - it's a gorgeous country full of gorgeous people, humorous and hospitable and always ready to go out of their way to help you when possible. I anxiously await the day when I have enough money to return and visit the parts of the country I didn't see the first time around. I have no doubt that you will enjoy (almost) every minute of your time Down Under. Relax, have fun, BE YOURSELF, and just enjoy the experience!
