The best places to shop for clothes
17 years ago, April 25th 2007 No: 1 Msg: #13301
Having just flown around the world, I just wanted to list a few places were I like to shop for clothes

In England Primark, they have many stores throughout. Can be a bit trashy but keep your eye out

United States

In New York Century 21, a very good range of brands from $20 upwards to over $700+. Good brand names

Filennes Basement and TJ Maxx, good brand names good pricing

Syms 400 Park Ave Very good Value also caters for larger sizes, and suits. They can adjust waist and length on the spot

Fileenes basement and Syms are on the East Coast

In LA Ross Stores and TJ Maxx, they are right next to each other in Culver City. J C Penney also in Culver City is not bad. Bought Dickies brand for a friend he was estatic over the prices

Ross and TJ maxx look cheap, but there are good bargains.

All the stock they sell is original. You will get better value from these stores than factory outlets. I buy a lot from America its worthwhile going Reply to this

you forgot the best places to shop in the USA

1) thrift stores - find a good one and you will never shop in a retail store again!

2) garage sales in rich neighborhoods Reply to this
