Reply to this I always love to read blogs about a first trip to the U.S. and how impressions of this country have been confirmed and denied. Hollywood does not always paint an accurate picture and yet sometimes it does. I think people often get disappointed by LA. It is not as fascinating as they hope and it is so spread out and hard to get around. This blogger has entered the country via Houston (for work) so it will be interesting for him as he won't have the standard LA, Vegas, NYC experience. Good for him.
