This thread was inspired, by the following which has appeared on the Front Page a number of times. As far as I remember from reading the blog, it is in a Beetles museum in London.



This statue is outside a bar I always visit, when I am in Dublin.

No photo, I'm afraid, since I don't have access to my European photos. However, I love hearing compositions that were composed in the same period as the venue in which I was now hearing them or where they were originally played--rather like hearing them and feeling their time period.

Heaven hearing a 17c piece in a 17c church in Amsterdam, Bach's works in his Leipzig church, Mozart's works in Vienna and Prague where they were debuted, and many other treats. I miss that in South America. Reply to this
