Well said, Dave and Bob. I enjoy bloggers going historical as much as I'm interested in current blogs going hysterical 😊)
For most, it's more a legacy than indulgence. As for moí, I just needed a platform where I can "store" my happy memories for when my memory fails me later! It may sound selfish, but it brings out the question of "who are we writing for?" I must admit I don't really write "for an audience" but more for my family and moí. But hey, if some readers enjoy reading them or find them useful, I'm happy!
Reply to this Writing Historical blogs might express our past experience and we sometimes we can compare the past from the present time. I've read a blog before and it's about the authors experience on the present time and a couple of years ago.

We can tell you we appreciate the efforts of both of you for taking the time to do historical blogs and share them with us. We are loving it.
Reply to this I prefer to use my car, but unfortunately it takes too much time to reach my destination. That is why I'm traveling by plane. Here is the website which is rich of good deals for travel and accomodation.

Reply to this Probably it's just a memory for ourselves! I did trying to put my written journal from my notebook in the past on blogs!
Reply to this I'd say write it! Yes, it I hard to remember some details but blogging is like a photo album on steroids. Not only can you display pictures and write your narrative experience, but it is open for the world to see and read. I am in the same situation, I often get busy with life and procrastinate so I have blogs that I am still currently writing about my travels two years ago. Really the blogs are for me as a keepsake and an experience that I love to share to fellow travellers, and also In the hopes to persuade other people to travel and see the world.
Good luck on your writing! 😊

And in the writing and choosing the photos you are reliving the travels...remembering that brush...that glimpse...that nuance...that experience.
We travel to not only experience but to retain good memories.
Blog on and keep them alive.
