How about hiking Mount Kinabalu (tallest peak in South East Asia)? I'll bet you'll have a great time. Make sure you stay 1 night at the base camp, coz you will need to do the trekking early morning & catch sunrise at the peak.
If you don't like trekking then may be stop by Phillipine Market (pasar Filipin). Nice place to get souvenir esp pearls.
