Hi, I love your
blogs and so does a lot of readers, so don't mind the haters. I received one very nasty comment in the past, when I posted my daughter's picture on a recent travel to my home country,
. She fell asleep on the table while we were having lunch. And the comment goes like " is that food on her hands, is she eating with her hands, I hope you are not rasing your child as a Filipino because that would be horrible".
Knowing travelblog is a great venue to write blogs without those nasty haters, I deleted the comment immediately, as I will not tolerate such gross display ignorance with a response. These sort of people, I guess thrive on hatred and getting others riled up to say mean things to them so they can say meaner things. But I don't want to play that game, thats why I love being a travelblog.org member.

That is the second most horrible blog comment, I have heard about being posted on TravelBlog. Some people are just plain nasty, and that is all I can say about people who post comments like that.

Agree, the comment is particularly vicious and is obviously intended to offend - deletion was well deserved. Such comments do demonstrate the extreme ignorance and prejudice that some people have for their felllow human beings. Sure, we are all ignorant of different cultures and practices to some degree, but this comment is from someone who seems to be proud of such ignorance.
I must say that it is a sweet photo - children seem to be able to fall asleep in all sorts of positions!

Reply to this I was reading this thread at the same time I was reading my own comments. And found my first negative comment. :p
Even though the content of the message was written in txt speak I would didn't have a problem with his opinion, I would have replied. It was the profanity in the subject box that made me delete it.
