Trying to figure out the cheapest/easiest way of travelling from Costa Rica to Ecuador
I'm planning on travelling to South America by myself for a few months in June and am wondering if it would be possible to fly into Costa Rica for a few days first. Is there a simple and cheapish way to get from there to Ecuador? Would also be grateful for any other travel tips, I am thinkig Costa Rica - Ecuador - Galapagos Islands - Peru - Chile - Argentina - Brazil
I've deleted your duplicate post in the overland and sea forum. Please only post once on each topic.
I was actually looking for an answer to the same question (maybe in the opposite direction Equador - Costa Rica). looking forward to some suggestions.
If you are thinking Costa Rica you might consider visiting coco. Been there, a beautiful place.

Same question , Anyhelp sofar?
we have done the trip now, what tips do you need?
Costa Rica vacations are wonderful for anytime of the year. Annual temperatures are between 70oF and 80oF. The tropical climate of Costa Rica makes it a popular travel destination for visitors that want to escape the winter chills and take advantage of the warm temperatures that the country has to offer. Rain fall is primarily present from May to November. If you would like to avoid the rainy season in Costa Rica, the best time to visit is between December and April. Attend the National Orchid Show in San Jose in March or Puntarenas Carnival the last week in February.
