A friend and I will be in Georgia this December and are looking for travel destinations for Dec. 25, 26 and 27. Does anyone have any ideas for Savannah, Charleston or perhaps Nashville? Is anything happening on Christmas Day?

I have spent Christmas in Georgia for a few years ( I am from NY and have family in the Atlanta area) and have gone to this really nice light show at lake Lanier. http://www.lakelanierislands.com/mnol/ I always enjoy it and it is something you drive through. Also Stone Mountain has many fun things to do all year long but at Christmas has http://www.stonemountainpark.com/mini-section/default.aspx?id=42 I know that Atlanta was not one of your cities of choice but hope you will consider!
