When was the last time you unexpectedly received a gift? What was it? Who gave it to you?
Today I was in a local cafe, procrastinating over whether to have a second coffee in order to delay going home and tidying the house.
Just as I finished my first coffee the cafe lady announced that all customers in the cafe were getting a free coffee and doughnut. It is the start of Fashing here in Germany, and doughnuts are traditional to eat during it. So, naturally I stayed for the second coffee because coffee and doughnuts certainly beat doing laundry. 😊

I received some money today for some freelance work that I started but couldn't finish. I didn't think I'd get anything for a job only quarter-done, but the company paid me for the part I did. It isn't often I receive any unexpected money...
