Alone for 8days bkk/kul/penang/sin with tight budget.
Is it possible to move from bkk/kul/penang/sin in 8days?? Train or bus only, got no budget for air transpo. Suggestions and advice please! Thanks!!😊))
Reply to this Flying from bkk to kul is almost certainly cheaper than the bus especially when you factor in the meals you will eat while spending a few days on the bus, even if they are overnighters - check out air asia. Singapore is very expensive. I would recommend just spending the majority of the time in one or two of these places, trying to fit anything else in will just be rushing it.
Reply to this I agree with Dominick. Check out the budget airlines like Air Asia and Tiger Airways. They have really cheap fares. This journey would take you about 2-3 days by bus/rail anyway, which uses up rather a lot of your holiday. You are perhaps underestimating the size of the countries.
You could fly from Bangkok to Penang, then get the bus from Penang to KL, then the bus from KL to Singapore.
