I read one of Barack Obamas books, 'Dreams of my Father'. I would like to read the other. As far as I know there are only two.
If I give it some thought, there are likely other autobiographies I would like to read too.
Reply to this There are three if you count the children's book he wrote recently, can't remember the name. It's not autobiographical, though.
I would like to read "The Life and Times of Albert Einstein" in full, I got a little overwhelmed by some of the physics and physics references I didn't understand the first time I tried reading it. Maybe after having taken classical physics and started modern physics in college I will be on better footing this time.
I also would like to read the diaries of Lady Murasaki, read some excerpts of an English translation online and they were really cool.
Reply to this We enjoy reading biographies and autobiographies....and make an attempt to read a couple of them a year.
I enjoyed Obama's book and didn't enjoy Clinton's 970 page tribute to himself. He has a great memory but his ego is a bit to big for my taste.
I love reading books by journalists because they have generally done and see a lot. I've enjoyed the oes I've read by Walter Cronkite, A Reporters Life and David Brinkley's, A Memoir . I usually enjoyed autobiographies by musicians. One that was surprisingly interesting is the one by Willie Nelson. Give it a try. He has had an interesting life.
