We're heading to Hong Kong on Friday (25th August) and wondered if anyone had any recomendations on Hostels/Guesthouses in Kowloon? Looking for somthing cheap but clean?
The Lonely planet lists Travellers Hostel and Park Guesthouse as possible budget options. Has anyone stayed in Kowloon recently?
Reply to this I live in Kowloon. I think the following 3 options are quite ok for budget travelers(in terms of location):
1. Caritas Bianchi Lodge
2. Evergreen Hotel
3. Tatami

Reply to this Hmm. There is the Chianking Mansions (sp?) which is supposed to be where everyone budget oriented flocks. That place definitely creeped me out though when I walked by.
