Hi, I'm planning a Tibet-Nepal trip this May. I was initially planning on joining an organized Tibet-Everest-Kathmandu trek (8-9days) but I saw Hazzards Emergency Exit's account where he and his companions had rented a Landcruiser (+driver).
Anyone here knows the contact person/details of where I could rent a similar vehicle (with driver/guide)? Or is it better to just trek (given only a week to travel)?

Reply to this Just when u wil get to Lhasa just look around on your guesthouse wall or on lonely planet forum look for people in restaurant and look around you will find some people already there in Lhasa where u can organize rent a vehicle guide and do this trip.
